Erie Playhouse
The Erie Playhouse has announced it's 2025 season which they're calling A Season of Soaring Tales and Epic Adventures, including favorite musicals, dramas, youththeatre productions and more.

The Erie Playhouse recently released their slate of upcoming shows for the 2025 theatrical season and it is a robust schedule of favorites the organization is dubbing as "A Season of Soaring Tales and Epic Adventures."

Kicking off the 2025 season in January is the Tony-nominated musical Waitress, featuring music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles. The musical is based on the 2007 film by the same name starring Keri Russell. The Youtheatre premier of the season features the groovy jams of the ever popular children's book character Pete the Cat – offering a musical take on the cat's famous songs about buttons, shoes, and more.

"Each year, our team works hard to put together a slate of productions and programming to showcase the incredible talent in our community, and that we know our audiences will love," said Zach Flock, Erie Playhouse Executive Director. "The 2025 season is going to blow audiences away, and we can't wait to see everyone at the Playhouse!"

Continuing throughout the season, expect to see intriguing and familiar titles like The Prince of Egypt, The DaVinci Code, Cats, My Fair Lady, The Elephant Man, and Emma (a pop musical based on the classic Jane Austen novel). Additionally, the Youtheatre group will present The Phantom Tollbooth in May. One final show will be announced that will round out the year in December, so make sure to stay tuned for more information on that production.
