It's the most wonderful time of the year, as they say. As the holiday season comes into full swing, virtually every day in December holds something in store if you're feeling festive. So start popping out those advent calendars and feasting on a few of these select event-morsels behind each door, fit for your holiday date night or family outing alike. It's a Holly Jolly Stage Show

The play's the thing, as weekends in December will find theater-goers with quite a few options, including some productions wholly original to the Erie area. Tis the season for local ticket-holders.

A Medieval Christmas Banquet: An Angel's Work Is Never Done, Dec. 5, 6 — 7 p.m. & Dec. 7 — 1 p.m. // Reprising their performance of Rev. Yuletide Carols Being Sung By a Fire

Though there might not actually be an open fire on hand for all your chestnut-roasting needs, there are oodles of Christmas tunes to be heard, and more than a few sing-alongs to join in with, whether you're a classical caroler or a jingle-bell-rocker.
