Don't wash away an opportunity to help communities in need.

Spherion Staffing and Recruiting, which has offices in Erie and throughout Pennsylvania, is hosting a toiletry drive throughout April to benefit L'Arche Erie, a provider of community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The drive is being held in honor of both National Volunteer Month and Spherion's 30th business anniversary.

Interested donors can drop off their unused, unopened shower and personal hygiene products at Spherion's Erie office, located at 2254 W. Eighth St., during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Matt Swanseger can be reached at mswanseger@eriereader.com
