The UPMC Sunset Music Series will host a display of some local country veterans and new kids on the block when Refuge and M4 hit the stage at Presque Isle' Beach 1 Wednesday, July 1.

While some people are a little country, and others are a little bit rock 'n' roll, Refuge can lay claim to being both, as the band has been pumping out brawny tunes since 2007. M4 may not quite have as much experience as Refuge – which makes sense when you consider that each member of the band is between the ages of 13 and 16 – but the local sextet sure has the energy to rock a crowd, all while displaying some impressive chops. – Alex Bieler
