Join The Emo Band For Live Karaoke at Sherlock's

Let out your angst with live karaoke

Saturday, July 28

Later this month, Pittsburgh's most popular live karaoke band will be visiting Erie's own Sherlock's for what's sure to be a night of nostalgia and drunken singalongs. The Emo Band have a specialty, and you may be able to guess that specialty from their name: pop-punk and emo hits from the early and mid-2000s. At this very moment, The Emo Band proudly offer 40 songs for selection (with more being prepared for each show), but this does make sign-up limiting, so those wishing to participate are encouraged to show up early.

A full list of songs can be found on their website, but featured artists are reflective of those considered commercially and culturally significant during their heyday, including the likes of Dashboard Confessional, Jimmy Eat World, and My Chemical Romance. The site even makes notes of The Emo Band's newest additions — two singles from New Found Glory ("All Downhill From Here" and "Hit Or Miss") and one crowd favorite Say Anything ("Every Man Has a Molly"). The music starts at 10 p.m., but doors and sign-ups open at 9 p.m., so clear that schedule and be sure to wear your heart on your sleeve. — Aaron Mook
